MetLife Investors Hires New Leader for Wirehouse Channel

He will be focusing on annuity sales, the company said. Kennedy, who will report to Paul A. Sylvester, National Sales Manager, Annuities and Long Term Care, comes to MetLife Investors from AXA Distributors, where he was most recently senior vice president and national sales manager. In that role, Kennedy was responsible for sales and management for the broker/dealer channel.

Prior to joining AXA in 2004, Kennedy, who has more than 15 years experience in the financial services industry, was regional vice president for the New England division at AIM Distributors, Inc, responsible for all mutual fund and variable annuity sales.
