Mesirow Promotes Managing Director

Steven M. Perlman was promoted to managing director of Mesirow Financial’s investment advisory group.

Perlman provides broad-based financial planning and investment advice, and works with affluent individuals, families and organizations to evaluate and implement investment strategies to meet short- and long-term objectives in asset allocation.

Perlman joined Mesirow Financial in 1993 and has more than 20 years of experience in the investment industry. He is a member of the firm’s select manager advisory committee and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary designee (AIF).

Perlman holds a bachelor’s of science degree from Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs. He is a board member of Econ Illinois.

The promotion recognizes Perlman’s dedication to client service, business development and the firm, Mesirow said in a release.
