John Hancock Retirement Plan Services Hires Sales VP

Serving in John Hancock’s central division and with a focus on central Texas, Whinery is responsible for sales and relationship development with financial representatives and plan consultants.

Whinery brings to the company experience serving in similar roles across the Colorado, Arizona, Utah, New Mexico and Wyoming markets. Additionally, he holds Series 6, 63 and state variable life insurance licenses, and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado. In his new role with John Hancock he reports to Gary Tankersley, divisional vice president, central division.

John Hancock manages insurance companies throughout the U.S., and offers and administers financial products, such as annuities, 401(k) plans, college savings and investments.
