Great-West Names Sales Director for Kentucky

Schlegel will work with brokers, financial advisers, consultants, wirehouses and third-party administrators (TPAs) to offer GWRS 401(k) plans and services to businesses across Kentucky. Schlegel reports to Scott Barnett, Midwest region vice president.  

Before joining GWRS, Schlegel spent the past eight years at Nationwide Financial Services Inc. in a series of increasingly responsible roles. His most recent position was regional vice president, private-sector sales. From 2002 to 2004, he was a relationship manager at Fifth Third Bancorp Inc.   

Schlegel holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Centre College. He holds NASD Series 6 and 63 securities registrations.
