Fidelity Appoints Relationship Management Heads for Brokerage Units

Fidelity Investments has announced promotions at Fidelity Institutional Wealth Services (FIWS), the firm’s trading, custody, and brokerage arm for registered investment advisers (RIAs), and National Financial (NF), the firm’s clearing unit for broker/dealers.

Scott W. Dell’Orfano, executive vice president and head of sales for FIWS, will now oversee its relationship management team and continue to report to Michael Durbin, president of FIWS. Prior to joining Fidelity in October 2004, Dell’Orfano was senior vice president for Philadelphia-based SEI Investments.

NF has appointed Bobbi Masiello as executive vice president of relationship management and continue to report to Sanjiv Mirchandani, president of NF. Masiello joined Fidelity in 1986, and since that time has held various senior leadership positions in the areas of new business development, relationship management and operations, including serving as head of National Financial’s client integration, training, and support services, according to the firm. She began her career in the retail brokerage division at Goldman, Sachs & Co.

Ronald P. Fiske Jr. will now oversee investment product management across both NF and FIWS, which jointly service Fidelity’s hybrid clients, the firm said. Fiske will report to both Durbin and Mirchandani. Prior to joining Fidelity in May 2008, Fiske was managing director of product management and development for Pershing’s RIA and global broker/dealer customer base.
