Austin Ventures Acquires Asset International
Asset International, the parent company of PLANSPONSOR, PLANADVISER, and Global Custodian, has been acquired by Austin Ventures, a venture capital and growth equity firm with $3.9 billion of capital under management.

Along with an infusion of capital, Jim Casella will assume the position of CEO, enabling Founder and Director Charlie Ruffel to continue in a strategic role with increasing focus on expanding the current brands and developing new information products. The executive team of Asset International and the editorial staffs of PLANSPONSOR, PLANADVISER, and Global Custodian will all remain in their current roles.
