AdviceAmerica Introduces CRM for Outlook

Is most of your office life managed in Outlook? Well AdviceAmerica now offers a client relationship management solution that can be operated there too.

The new solution, called ClientVision, combines the “familiarity and functionality” of Microsoft Outlook with the capability to manage and view clients’ portfolios, goals, financial documents, said Advice America in a release. As a hosted solution, ClientVision works with Office 2007 and Internet Explorer.

The company said advisers never have to leave the Outlook application to access and manage their clients’ financial details. Advisers won’t have to maintain in-house data servers or keep multiple desktop clients in sync, the release noted.

“ClientVision comes to market at a time when advisers are looking for greater efficiency and need immediate access to relevant information to effectively manage client relationships,” said Purna Pareek, CEO of AdviceAmerica, in the release. “Our research has shown that a majority of independent advisers use Outlook as their primary customer relationship tool and ClientVision provides access to financial information without loading a separate application.”

According to the release, a few features of the system include:

  • integration with Outlook contacts, email, calendar, and task management functions
  • integration with AdviceAmerica’s AdvisorVision financial planning application
  • ability to collect account data from sources such as Albridge, Pershing, TD Ameritrade, and DST in real time
  • ability to upload client documents such as financial plans, wills, insurance policies, or estate documents
  • ability to record and log history of client communications and recommendations
  • access anywhere via a secure Web site
  • synchronization of client details entered by all advisory team members continuously kept up to date in Outlook from the centralized data repository.
