401(k) Rekon Opens AZ Location
401(k) Rekon, a Wilmington, North Carolina-based provider of adviser research and education, has opened an office near Phoenix, Arizona, the company announced.
A company news release said it is making the move because continuing to host education meetings through the Midwest and West was becoming too expensive from its east coast base.
Trey Dowdy, recently promoted to Business Development Manager, will manage the office, according to the company.
“Phoenix is a strategic location for our organization,” said Ross Marino, CEO of 401(k) Rekon, in the news release. “We can access 31 major cities from Texas to California in two hours or less by plane.”
According to the announcement, financial adviser symposia for 2010 are already scheduled for Los Angeles, Denver, Seattle, Dallas, and other major metropolitan areas.
