PLANADVISER Changes Top 100 Listing

Methodology evolution will more closely link to quantitative metrics.

Today, PLANADVISER announced that the 2016 Top 100 Retirement Plan Advisers listing will be taken from participants in its annual Retirement Plan Adviser Survey.

The change in methodology is to better separate the quantitative Top 100 listing from the qualitative PLANSPONSOR Retirement Plan Adviser of the Year award and to better mirror the respective PLANSPONSOR awards for plan sponsors: the Best in Class 401(k) Plans, taken from the annual PLANSPONSOR DC Survey, and the qualitative PLANSPONSOR Plan Sponsors of the Year.

Therefore, for an adviser to be eligible to be recognized in the 2016 PLANADVISER Top 100 Retirement Plan Advisers, advisers must submit a complete entry to the PLANADVISER Retirement Plan Adviser Survey, fielded in late summer/early fall. A sub-segment of the questions will be used to determine eligibility for the Top 100.

For advisers that want to take part in the survey and be eligible for the 2016 PLANADVISER Top 100 Retirement Plan Advisers, they can sign up to get an invitation here.
