--- The Institutional Retirement Income Council (IRIC) has
appointed Jeff Eng, director of retirement income solutions at Russell
Investments, to
its group of retirement plan advisers.

Eng
has more than 11 years of experience in the defined contribution (DC) industry
and, in particular, expertise in guaranteed DC plan
retirement income solutions.

Russell Investments, Eng is responsible for client education and advice on
institutional retirement income solutions in the U.S. He joined Russell from
AllianceBernstein, where he was responsible for product development and

Eng’s appointment strengthens
the advisory group’s efforts to assist plan sponsors with retirement income solutions.
“We are
very pleased and honored to have Jeff join the IRIC team and look forward to
his many contributions,” said Martin Schmidt, who oversees the organization’s
board of advisers. “Jeff brings a wealth of knowledge and unique experience in
retirement plan solutions, and his addition comes at a time when a growing
number of plan sponsors are looking at ways to provide their employees with
greater retirement security.”
Eng
is a graduate of Columbia University’s School of Engineering and Applied
Sciences. He holds FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, is a certified Chartered
