--- RetireReady, a customizable, turnkey participant education
program to help independent advisers deliver value to retirement plan sponsor
clients, was introduced by Commonwealth Financial Network. ---
The program gives advisers targeting the plan sponsor market
a way to distinguish themselves, said Paul Mahan, Commonwealth’s director of
retirement consulting services. “The robust library of out-of-the-box resources
helps advisers showcase their expertise, and helps plan sponsors and
participants by driving employee engagement and plan participation,” Mahan
said.
RetireReady is the most recent addition to a suite of
marketing programs for Commonwealth advisers that support its client-forward
philosophy.
Commonwealth’s marketing programs include presentations,
articles, worksheets, and more on hot topics in the retirement plan arena.
Solutions are grouped into three areas to reflect the way advisers structure
their businesses and their approach to servicing plans:
Encourage enrollment:
Outlines the basics of a workplace retirement plan to inspire employees to get
started or to participate more.
Educate about saving
and investing: Covers ways to find extra dollars to put toward
retirement savings; also discusses dollar-cost averaging and asset allocation.
Prepare participants
for retiring: Gets pre-retirees thinking about creating a retirement
income plan.
“This is a critical piece in a strong and expanding
framework for helping position our advisers to tap into unprecedented
opportunities—and for helping employees make the best decisions possible when
it comes to their retirement planning and savings,” Mahan said.
Commonwealth Financial Network is a registered investment
adviser that supports more than 1,400 independent registered representatives throughout
the country.
