--- Callan hired Mark Kinoshita as vice president in the Trust, Custody and
Securities Lending group. ---
Kinoshita's responsibilities include
staying on the forefront of custody trends that could affect clients’ back
office and operational functionality, assessing clients’ operational structures
to ensure they are efficient and incorporate industry best practices, and
expanding the firm’s custodial research, consulting capabilities and product
offerings.
Kinoshita has 20 years of experience in
the securities processing industry and at large financial institutions, with
all constituent levels at public funds, corporate and Taft-Hartley pension
plans, foundations, endowments, corporate treasury, and banks and insurance
companies. He also has experience in settlement operations, client reporting,
client systems consulting, product and business development and project
management.
Before joining Callan, Kinoshita was a
business development officer in the institutional services group at Comerica
Bank, where he was responsible for trust, custody, securities lending,
short-term investment products and asset management.
Kinoshita graduated with a B.A. in
political science from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
