--- Callan hired John P. Jackson as a senior vice president in the Fund Sponsor Consulting Group. ---
Jackson, who is based in Chicago, will consult with large public and
corporate defined benefit (DB) plans. He reports to Kevin Dolsen, head
of Callan’s Chicago Fund Sponsor Consulting office.
Before joining Callan, Jackson served as a director and senior
consultant with the Asset Consulting Group, where he worked with
investment boards and committees and senior investment officers of
public, insurance, and not-for-profit institutions. Jackson served as
principal, vice president and senior consultant at DeMarche Associates.
He also served as a vice president at The Northern Trust Company.
Jackson earned his bachelor’s in political science from the
University of Illinois, his master’s in business administration from
Washington University in St. Louis and his Juris Doctorate from the
Washington University School of Law. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst
(CFA), and belongs to the CFA Society in Chicago and CFA Institute.
