BMO Launches Podcast Series for Advisers

The 33-episode series by BMO Global Asset Management aims to provide advisers with actionable insights on improving relationships with clients, and it will conclude in the first quarter of 2017.

BMO Global Asset Management has released a new podcast series titled “Better Conversations. Better Outcomes.”  Launched this week, the series seeks to cover the most challenging conversations that advisers face with their clients, while offering insights from industry experts across a wide spectrum of the wealth management industry, BMO says.

The 33-episode series will cover broad topics such as retirement planning, alternative investments, and fixed income; as well as niche subjects like living to 100, women and wealth, tax loss harvesting and more. Each episode will be 15 to 30 minutes in length.

“The podcasts tackle the challenging conversations that advisers have with their clients and shine a spotlight on practice management topics,” says Ben Jones, co-host and managing director of intermediary distribution for BMO. “Our goal is to provide access to industry experts across a broad spectrum of the wealth management industry, as well as tools advisers can easily implement and use to ultimately enhance their practices.”

One episode, for example, will feature Steve Moore, author of “Ineffective Habits of Financial Advisors: And the Disciplines to Break Them.”

BMO Managing Director Matt Smith adds, “We wanted to cover an array of topics most relevant to today’s advisers. “Every episode concludes with easily actionable nuggets from experts, including other advisers for peer-to-peer sharing. The podcast format is perfect for commuters, and the series is easily accessed through iTunes, Google Play and Stitcher.”

Each episode is available free of charge online here.
